Yoga has been part of Sue’s life for over 30 years. Working as a CT Technologist in Hospitals and Trauma centers, it has brought balance, peace and joy to her life. After an injury to her spine, she was unable to continue working. During her recovery she turned to Gentle Yoga. Unfortunately, she discovered that she had too many limitations. She took a Yoga Trapeze class, and found she was able to obtain more flexibility and do many more poses without discomfort. The practice increased flexibility and helped her back pain, with less pressure on the joints and strain on the spine. This led her to get certified in Yoga and Yoga Trapeze and she has found it also provides her the freedom to enhance her mat practice.
Originally from France, Gwen fell in love with Yoga during a trip to India. The philosophy and practice of Yoga completely changed her outlook on life, opening her heart to spirituality and to the cultivation of serenity. India is also where she discovered the ancient science of Ayurveda (the "Wisdom of Life"), which she has been studying and applying to her own lifestyle to improve her well-being.
Gwen is also passionate about dancing, and has been trained in different styles, from ballet to pole dancing (!).
She is grateful to have the opportunity to teach and help others reap the many benefits of the wonderful practice of Yoga.
